Discovery

This wild and natural jade specimen was discovered in Northern British Columbia, Canada. It was created during the "Carboniferous" period and is approximately 300 million years old!

Interestingly, it is most likely that the calcium portion of this mineral comes from the bones and shells of prehistoric life forms.

Riding the tectonic plates from Gondwanaland, and risen up in the coastal mountain building only to be eroded and plucked from the mountain by a glacier. The ice used the jade to scour the rest of the rugged land scape for 20 thousand years, before dumping it into the raging mountain river for many thousands of years.
